Recent data shows an increase in the number of Europeans using illicit drugs to overcome daily struggles and challenges. This trend is further enhanced by the fallout of COVID-19 pandemic. In this webinar, MEP Cyrus Engerer, together with European experts on addictions, presents scientific evidence on how to best prevent future addictions to illicit drugs. The discussions will focus on how to incorporate more science into EU policy decision-making. The event is part of a series on better prevention of addictive behaviour.
