/ about

Recent data shows an increase in the number of Europeans who turn to addiction to gambling and pathological use of social networks to deal with daily struggles and challenges tied to the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this webinar, MEP Adriana Maldonado López, together with European experts on addictions, presents scientific evidence on how to best prevent future common addictions to behavioural addictions. The discussions will focus on how to incorporate more science into EU policy decision-making. The event is part of a series on better prevention of addictive behaviour.
